I was looking for a nice background image for the new lap top I bought and google images brought this to my attention.

The short article is a little harsh on the paint job and compares it to HD's "living inside the box they've created" attitude. I think it looks sick on the bike and over the carbon fiber. IMO the bike is innovative in and of itself, I don't see how the paint job detracts from that or makes EBR unoriginal.

I saw that bike at home coming this year. It's gorgeous and it was specially painted for the owner by EBR.

So what is so distracting about the paint job? What's more American than an American color scheme job on an American motorcycle? Love it! (And I'm not one for paint jobs either)

I love everything about this bike! However that seat looks rather unforgiving!

I've sat on it, and it was actually extremely comfortable, comparable to a stock Xb for sure, almost better than like a tempurpedic.

I still cannot get over the exhaust on those bikes. It needs a true buell under the bike exhaust.

I do too, usually don't like flag paint schemes.

It is under the bike, the long tip is just that, a tip. Cut it off and put a 3" angled tip and there you go.

No need to even cut it off. There's two bolts/clamps that hold it on. Designed for easy, quick removal

I agree, im usually not into that type of paint job but its well done and the visible carbon fiber in it gives it a detailed touch

I like the translucent part. I have a carbon lightening seat cowl im gonna look into doing this with. Never even knew about it. Very clean bike[up] Erik Buell once again.
