Well I need new tires. I like the feel of extreme flickablity and was wondering if a smaller rear tire would work and be safe for curvy road riding. Will the bike overpower the thinner tires? Will they even fit correctly on the rim? Has anyone tried this yet?

I would stick with the stock 180. thats just my opinion though. Maybe try a tire that has a high center so the bike drops side to side easy. I believe the pilot powers have a profile like that.

I love my Michelin Pilot Powers 2CT tires. They make cornering effortless. They have a very positive feel. I can't say the same about the stock Dunlops...

Hi

I am new to the forum and as the tire issue is, I wonder if I can put in my xb12ss tire size of 200 in rear, without having to move the suspension?
hugs.

Fabic, it'd be best if you could start your own thread. Not so much to keep from interrupting this one, but that way when someone has a question the same as yours, they can see your thread title.

Oh and welcome to the Board. :)[up] (Edit: Oh, and here's this to answer your question: 200mm Rear Tire Review)

Sorry hinder the discussion, it was not my intention. Thanks for the shortcut.[smirk]
