I am looking at selling or trading my Bike. I was trying to collect Race bikes and it is just not happening so I want to sell or trade my 1998 Buell S1 White Lightning R.O.C. #9 Springer signed Race bike. AMA Hall of Fame Rider Jay Springsteen Raced this bike at the Milwaukee Mile at Harleys 95th Anniversary invite only race, I believe there were 9 or 10 of these prepared for the race. Jay took a first in the heat race and a very close second to Pascall in the final race.
This bike has been stored since the race with very few miles around the block to keep it running, I had to replace the battery and the tires as they rotted after taking a set from the race day. It is titled in TX in my name and we bought lights and extra tank etc as I thought I wanted to ride on the streets but I am not fond of riding highway so in 60 miles I was done, lol. I was brought up in the dirt. The original tank has not had gas in it since the race. It is really clean although not as clean as when I had it in the house, it is in my shop now and is getting dusty. This bike had the factory race kit installed and I think I was told about 108hp. Super conservative estimate on miles would be under 500 miles since new, it is very fun.
I would consider a big 4x4 atv, or possibly a 450 or larger super motard or EXC type motorcycle that is titled.
I am open to cash offers but I will not give it away as it is basically broke in not 20000 miles. Maybe a 50 BMG target rifle.
Thank you for looking
I don't understand how to add pictures of the bike here sorry about that I will see if I can post them in pictures.

You can e-mail the photos to me at max [at] thetuniversity [dot] com and I can post them for you, if you'd like.

You're also more likely to make a sale if you establish an asking price.

Damn... I had a foreman 450s that I got rid of about 3 months ago that I would've thrown at this in a heartbeat... =/ I'd love to have one of these...

I would love to see pictures of this, also I work with a Vintage car and Motorcycle museum here in Oregon, and we rotate our displays so its never the same stuff. Next year ALL of the bikes will be racing bikes and we already have some amazing machines lined up, Ducatis, Norton, BSA, Yamaha, would be awesome to have this bike on display.

BTW, we have a large plastic Buell Dealer sign that is going up on the wall to join out other signage. Also.,, I handle sales on occasion for the museum to raise money for new construction and operations, and I have an amazing vintage Texaco lollipop sign (approx 12 feet tall) we are going to sell soon, we already have several other signs and this is just taking up space.

looking fwd to these buell pix

Thats some super cool stuff, Yes, would be awesome for our museum display, perhaps a buyer would consider putting it in there. Of course i favor our local museum, however up in Washington at the LeMay museum they have some pretty cool things going on as well and would love to have this on display,.

It would be a shame to change it,,, its super cool for what it is, Thus,, its more of a display bike and events where its fired up for exhibition. If you put it back on the street,,,,,,,,as fun as that might be, then its just another custom bike,

Would love to hear what something like this goes for, plus more details on the upgraded parts and mods.

thanks for the eye candy if nothing else.

I am going to put a number on this bike of $8,000 or best offer or trade, and hope it can go to a really good home
Thanks
GOD Bless
