Hello everyone,
I just received a 2001 Buell Blast with a failed ignition module and need to replace it. I'm trying to find an OEM one so I don't have to replace the whole ignition system, but I haven't had any luck finding them. I did find one for a 2007 blast and I was wondering if I could use that? The part numbers are different and the one on the bike now has 1 more cable than the 2007 one. Any help or pointers is greatly appreciated!

What is the part number on the one on the bike? using google showed that the part number is the same for 2001 and 2007.

The part number off of my ignition module was 32867-00Y 01086 and the 2007 module I saw for sale was Y045911A7 17235

Are you sure that is the number?

From google , here are the supercessions for 32687-00Y

32687-00Y IGNITION MODULE 32687-00YA IGNITION MODULE Y0459.11A7

Yeah both are the right numbers - I also just realized after looking a little closer on the ebay pic that the module actually does have 6 wires.
