2003 xb9r Firebolt possible buy.

I am thinking about trading my atv for this with the intent to turn around and sell. Its a 2003 with only 4100 miles. It looks very clean and comes with a jardine exhaust and a new set of tires. I would be looking to get $3200 for it. Would i be very hard pressed to get that out of it?

what state you in? what mods/upgrades? has it been wrecked? if your just trying to "flip" it you need to check the market in your area and decide if its quicker to sell a bik or a wheeler and how long you want to "sit" on it untill it sells

It only has a jardine pipe on it. Im in central GA. id like to flip it fairly quickly but im not too familiar with motorcycles.

ya it looks good if you wheeler is going to be harder to sell or worth less than id say go ahead if bikes seem to be selling fast down there about 1 more month things should be easy to sell as people start getting there incom tax in.

Total waste of money: who's interested in a 7 year old bike from an orphaned company?

Just post where the loser bike is and we can contact the seller and tell him what we think of his bike.

You just stick to your ATV, you don't want to get involved with two wheels.

$3200 seems high to me. I picked up my 04 12R for that 2 years ago with fewer miles.

I sold my '03 for that 2 years ago... but wasnt "clean" had been down and had a few scratches on the swingarm. There are no new XB9Rs left, so Used is the only way to go. I think you could sell it for that if it truly is in great condition. some people will preffer the 984cc's to the 1203cc version... I say list it at that price... bet you get some action on it.
