2003 xb9s brake light help!!!

Hi,

I own a 2001 buell x1, but today also purchased a 2003 xb9s for a awesome deal I just couldn't pass up! Everything checks out great on the bike and it only has 10k miles. The only problem I found on the bike is that the brake light doesn't come on when either the front lever or rear pedal are engaged..any suggestions? I have checked the bulb but called it a night.

Haha, sorry man! At least you saw the value in this bike too! Ya I have been reading the forums on here all night getting my list of things to look at for tomorrow to figure out whats up with the light. These things are alot different then my tuber. Lets just say I got the bike for almost nothing so I can't complain about the tail light being messed up!

I figured out the problem the following day, kinda late to post back but with the crg levrs that are on there its releasing contact on the switch with the front lever so the light would only come on but only on a "sweet spot".. I just packed the back of the lever with tiny squares of double sided tape and its working just fine.. just re-cleared all the carbon fiber and the thing looks ****** sweet!
