2004 XB12R Blown motor....need a new one...anyone know where to find one

ok...so last summer my Firebolt just died...turns out somehow the engine wasnt getting oil even though the oil was full and the oil pump was functioning...needless to say the engine is trash

anyone know where i can get a new engine?

buellster parts usually has engines.

Ohh ya fantastic idea haha. But if buellster doesn't have anything check ebay or people possibly parting out their bike

Then when u get that new engine, pull the stock oil pump drive out and put the brass race gear in so u don't have this problem again. Usually that's what goes wrong with the oiling systems in the early engines.
