Hello everyone! I have searched for articles on tuning my 04 xb12r, I just ordered an ECMspy cable online and it should be here early next week. I am located in Tampa Florida.
My xb12r has a dealer installed race kit (ECM + race can), port and polished heads, and a ported intake that flows with the head.
What type of tune should I be looking for, and should I allow the shop to do it? Any other advice, info, or tips that I should know as I search for the proper tune would be much appreciated.
On another note, I just had a set of Continental Conti Motions installed, and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE them, they handle really well. My buddy is on his 3rd set for his Buell, and averages 5-6000 miles on each rear, 7-8000 on the front tire using the Conti Motions.
