2004 xb12s help.

OK so I went for a ride and about halfway through I went to turn at a light and went to pull the clutch in and nothing. I figured shit I snapped my cable. so lucky me I was close to home and got it back pulled off the cover and found some hind of white paste coting the small cover on the primary. anyone have any clew as to what it is. does that mean I blew my clutch or what. I got a pic.

when is the last time you changed the oil in your primary? that looks like ALOT of condensation got in there to make it milky like that. I'd consider taking the primary cover off and and clean that up I don't think just draining would get it out. No real way to flush it I don't think maybe others will chime in.
