$3,500 OBO. Located in Willowbrook, IL (about 20 miles outside of Chicago, IL)
~29K Miles (mostly highway, previous owner had it as a commuter)
I got this bike in early summer of 2011. I have rode it about 5-10 times since. A buddy of mine wanted an ATV and I had one for sale, so we traded. I already have a Triumph Scrambler that I ride all the time, but I never had a Buell (or any sport bike for that matter), so I gave it a go. Turns out I simply ride the Triumph more and don't need two bikes, so this one is up for sale.
I did nothing to the bike but add a K&N filter and change the oil when I got it in June. It is still as I got it, which is as follows:
· Crossroads Bars (lower quasi-clip on style from American Sportbike)
· Carbon Fiber Seat cowell (purchased on Ebay, not ultimate quality, has cracks). I don't have this on as I think it looks stupid. There were some small scratches on the rear plastic behind the seat that I touched up with automotive touch up paint.
· Carbon Fiber Swingarm cover (From Moto JP in Japan, amazing quality)
· Carbon Fiber frame guards (purchased on Ebay, not ultimate quality, a bit faded)
· Carbon Fiber Heel Guards (great quality from ASB)
· Carbon Fiber Flyscreen (great quality from ASB)
· Motrax Bar-End Mirrors
· Zero Gravity Extended Flyscreen (helps cut wind in bad weather)
· Laminar Lip screen extender (added to Zero-Grav screen for winter riding)
· Buell Tail Bag (only used for a few months until replaced with seat cowl)
· Rizoma fiberglass short tail (replaced stock “cheese grater” rear fender) with plate holes underneath.
· Clear Alternatives smoke LED tail light with integrated turn signals
· LED front turn signals (left one has a crack in the shaft that is fixed with gaffers tape, but works fine).
· Pirelli Diablo Strada tires with a wider 190 rear (rear like new condition, front good)
· Both fork seals new 7-09, which is the biggest expense in 30K servicing.
*I have all the stock parts as well, which will come with the bike.
According to the previous owner, it was perfectly maintained by Simi Valley Harley in Moorepark California. It always had full synthetic oil.
The only issue it has is that the transclucent airbox cover was cracked around the bolt holes when I got it. There is gaffer tape on there. Seems to work fine as I have not had an issue at all.
Clear title in hand.
