I'm trying to find a replacement cam position sensor, timing sensor, ignition pickup, etc. I used Twin motorcycles and got the following, but it tubers and 03 XB, so I'm pretty sure it's not actually correct for an 07 XB12S.

SPHD has it too, but I think $160 seems steep when HD ones are only $50. I know, I know, Buell, discontinued, etc., but just wondering if there is a "generic" replacement.

Sportsters had been using crank sensors since about 2004. And at 2003 they were just using dual fire coils with carbs, so its probably not cross compatible with an XB. I dont know why it wouldnt work, but since you are already chasing a problem, its probably not the time to experiment with electrical parts and potentially create another problem.

True, definitely not trying to guess here, just seeing if there's other sources. Worst case I pay 160 to replace the one I "borrow" from you ;)
