I have a 2007 xb12s lightning that has 7800 miles on it and one day when I went to go get on the interstate the bike backfired at 4500 rpms and died on me. I took it to Harley Davidson they change the spark plugs spark plug wires all fluids put it on the dyno and could find nothing. however the bike still runs like s*** anytime I get on it. This usually happens in the third gear 4500 rpm at 80

I need help!

The dealers do not seem to have a good reputation. You do not state what you have done or checked, condition or history of the bike. Have you removed cleaned the grounds and checked for proper torque on those connections as well as the battery? Are the the subframe bolts tight, joining surfaces clean? May not be an issue with such a low mileage bike, but the history is unknown. Gotta start somewhere.

ok the condition of the bike is amazing. I check the battery I checked the grounds they went through and cleaned all of the electrical connections. I'm thinking ecm issue.

Take a good look at your fuel system as it sounds like you might be running out of fuel. Ecm's seldom go bad and it would probably no be so consistent. If fuel, it will probably get worse the longer and heavier the load. Weak pump or a very good chance of a crack in the hard plastic flex line inside the tank. Filter in the tank could be plugged.

Fuel pump has full pressur. I'll check the hard plastic flex line inside the tank

Can I get to it by taking the fuel pump out?
