BIKE IS SOLD
Offered up for sale is my low-mileage 2008 Buell Ulysses XT with factory hard bags and factory GPS. I’m the second owner; the first owner was a helicopter pilot and only had it for 800 miles. He had the break-in service performed but then sold it due to more or less constant deployment overseas. The bike has been well taken care of, oil changed every 2000 miles, and is in very nice shape - never down, wrecked, or damaged. I’ve toured around the SE on this machine and have never, ever, had an issue with it. Add gas and ride.
Has the Buell Comfort Kit installed. The bike is mostly stock with the exception of:
*Hand guard extenders for better wind/weather protection.
*Crash pegs, installed but thankfully never needed.
*Better mirrors (stock mirrors included)
*LED voltmeter modification (nicely done I might add, looks OEM)
*High intensity LED aux lights and LED headlights. Night visibility is fantastic.
*Tall windscreen with windscreen extender.
*Tire pressure monitor.
The bike is 100% functional and ready to go, however, it will need a new rear tire and I’ve factored that $175 into the price. The bike is in great shape. There are some cosmetic scuffs shown on the bags but they aren’t a big deal.
Some of the issues that can affect Buells have been taken care of too; all new wheel bearings were installed about six months ago (the ones that came out were fine), new voltage regulator installed some months ago, and it has a new front rotor/new pads. The bike also comes with a standard tall seat however it has a yellow passenger section. The GPS is loaded with the SE US maps but I have the software, cable, unlock code, and you can load whatever maps you like into it.
This is a fantastic riding machine and is ready to go anywhere you are. I’ve been riding Buells of one form or another for ten years and it’s time for a change.
$5000, located in Cary NC (adjacent to Raleigh NC). Fly in and ride if you like as the bike can easily be ridden anywhere. Call 919-949-5851, text, or send a PM for email. Thanks for looking.
