I'm brand new to Buell's, I've ridden every kind of bike but a Buell. Never even sat on one before. What it the seat height of this bike? I'm 5'5", think it'll fit me fine? Also I'm in SoCal. Will we be able to work something out to help me ship it? I was looking for a xb12s, besides being longer, what are all the differences between the 12s and ss?

The seat is 30.6" high. It is a bigger seat than a standard XB. There is not a lowering seat available for the ss as far as I know. You would want sit on it before you bought it. It's not real tall but I'm 6'2". You might be better off on an scg or the s like you are looking for.

Main difference is the longer wheel base, bigger seat.

You can find companies that take car of the shipping. That's on you. Better yet take a few days and ride it home. Cheaper and more fun.

...HMTRAN, at 5'5" you will definitely be wiser to find yourself an SCG model...the Ss will certainly prove to be uncomfortably tall for you...the lowered saddle, suspension, and 4" smaller frame of the SCG will work well in your favor, much safer and more fun than riding the Stretch edition...for that matter, (forum correct me if I've been misinformed) the XB9SX uses the same frame size as the SCG, is a somewhat lighter bike, and for someone such as yourself who isn't heavy (as I am, at 265lbs on my 6'8" frame ;)) the SX's 92 hp will provide plenty of scat, and will even be less costly...nothing wrong with affordable firepower... :D ...best luck in your search!
