NJ sucks would love to move further south. What part of NC you in? I ahve family in Charlotte and out near the coast.

Greensboro. Moved down from MA back in 2008. Love it here. I don't think I will ever move back.

almost ended up in Durham...but got NJ instead, boy did i get screwed LOL
$$$ is better up here but the roads kinda suck another reason to sell her off, she needs a much better home. i feel like i'm neglecting her need to carve

In my work, location doesn't determine salary. I make more down here than I did in MA. Combined with lower cost of living over all and elimination of all unsecured debt and work became optional for my wife. The kids love it that way. And they go to a public high school that ranks in the top 1% of all high school, public or private. In MA, we'd have to live in a town with a median home price of $500K.


Passed through NJ on the trip to MA for Christmas. The return trip sucked. Took over 9 hours to get from the NY/NJ line to DC. [mad]
