Hi Kkcdcdc,
First of all NICE AND EASY TO PRONOUNCE NAME
Just a joke.
Have you ever ridden a BRP Can-Am Spyder Roadster? I guess you ment this particular toy
[smirk]
If yes then you definitely know what you want.
If NO then I strongly recommend you to ride it prior to buying. You could change your mind, perhaps.
I have ridden this three wheel "half bike-half car" macine a couple of times.
Advantages:
- 990 cc V-Twin as on Buell (Rotax by the way)
- Good sound and power
- Good at straight road cruising
- Yeah you dont have to hold the bike with your legs while you are not moving. Yes it is good.
Disadvantages:
- Awful in corners (impossible to incline it like a bike) it scares a little as for me
- Has no hand brake. Foot brake only. If you will have to stop rapidly on the high speed. You'll feel that one foot pedal is not enough. To say more you'll feel as if you are trying to jump out off the bike on the speed by pressing that pedal with your foot.
- Wide front suspension (you wont be able to sqeeze through a narrow corridor between cars) wide as a car
- It has no niche to hold on the bike with your legs like Buell Airboxes Cover or other bikes fuel tanks have
Sure it was wonderful feeling to ride this car-bike machine but I'd better keep Buell.
Just my point of view.
Good luck with you making up your mind.
