Who's excited for snowmobile season!?
Its right around the corner. I just got my sleds dropped off at the shop for a winter checkup, and am getting a few new parts for my sleds.

When the snow flies, the world is my playground :)

Whats everyone ride, and where do you do most of your riding? Ditches, trails, fields, lakes, track, or...

Me: 2010 Skidoo XRS 800R. Ditch banging/off trail riding as often as I can, with alittle trail riding, and a yearly trip to the UP
Wife: 2010 Polaris Rush Pro-R 600. She is the same, only doesn't like riding in the powder/deep snow as much.
Spares: 2000 Arctic Cat ZR500 with a built D&D 711 kit. 1998 ZR600 AKA the ditch pickle. We have the extra's for friends, family, extra's incase one goes down, etc...

nice thread, snowmobiling is the only good thing about winter. I have a 2003 arctic cat zr1 800. I love it, but it sucks riding out in northern illinois, trail system sucks so mostly ditch bangin. If we can save our pennies we usually head up to eagle river or anywhere up there.

We are talking about throwing a big snowmobile bash this year. If we do, I will be sure to post it up on here.

[up][up] Thats a bad ass picture, maybe if I didnt spend all my money on the buell I could afford a new sled.

mine is like that one you see way in the back of your picture!! hahahah

The old sleds are way more fun and cheaper. I'm in the middle of restoring one of my '71 tnt 640's And I got my raider running last year.

those are awesome! but I had a 78 panther and it was an awesome drifter, but you would die in the ditches. My bike now has an amazing suspension, its like riding on a pillow compared to those things.

Nice sleds loose1 you dont see a raider everyday i doubt i could do a 200mile day on them though

My personal favorite.....We hit a little bit of mud going through a little stream late in the year.....

^ive been wanting to get a sport quad. I have a lifted 2.5" foreman 450 ES 4x4 on bigger tires (total 7" over stock at the floor boards), with a snorkel, bigger main jet, bigger breather hole for the carb, shorter throttle spring, fully sealed air box, front locker, and big red gears... there is a bunch of other little stuff too, but thats the grunt of it. Its a beast in the mud, but Id like to jump stuff in the summer :) The foreman can jump alittle, but the landings are a bitch!!!

yeah i know that feeling! my dad got a 07 grizzly 700efi jumped it a few times. the rebound threw me over the bars, never off but close. never was allowed to ride it after the 5th day of having it. took a berm a little to fast and then my dad came around the corner, it was shiny side down and i was down a small cliff..
