2012 Buellxb.com calendar photo entries

I know this is early, but I figured I'd make this thread to keep it in the back of your mind. When you go on a ride, take a camera and snap some pics. If you have a great pic, email it to me and I'll file it for next year's calendar. I'll have it printed in the beginning of November.


Themes are seasonal, but not religious. No Easter bunnies, Santas etc. Pictures that represent the time of year are encouraged. Remember, riding season will have a lot of entries, so the off season time of year will have better chances of making it to the final calendar.

Size requirement is at least 2500x2500 pixels. The higher the resolution the better.


By sending me your picture, you're giving me permission to use it for the calendar. Email entries to me at dave dot jhnsn at yahoo.com . (There are spambots that will email me if I write it correctly) My email is also available in my profile if you're confused.

I'm going to have to have a hard time getting quality action shots this year. The photographers on Palomar are only there on the weekends [confused] and it will be a few years before I'll have those off. You will probably just get a bunch of pictures by the lake out of me.

What is your preferred format (.tiff, .png, etc.)? Is there a limit on attachment size and/or number of submissions?

yes Batman, i can work on that.

Willie, I would say RAW if it was shot in it, otherwise .jpg. It really doesn't matter though. The bigger the better. Yahoo limits to 25MB. Other than that, there is no limit. The more the better.

No disrespect but ill be the first to oppose this idea. I have nothing against honoring a fellow rider but i dont want a calendar with that depresses me. It should be peoples choice like buying a t-shirt if they want to help the Delta1 fund.
But putting a guy i dont even know on the calendar im buying... Idea maybe not the front of the calendar but i smaller pic on the back.

so if it's a choice to buy a t-shirt are you implying that it's mandatory to buy a calender? I'm not trying to de a dick or anything but I'm not following your logic here. I don't feel like there is anything wrong with honoring one of our own. I don't know you or Dave or X so should I not buy the calender?? I'm confused.. When I see a picture of Arron it makes me smile because he was a really good guy. Sorry Oneloque not trying to pick a fight but I really don't understand where you are coming from[confused]
