That it to a chopper shop. A good one. Not your buddies buddie.... who has a shop in his Moms garage. I takes precision work and fabrication. Definitely not a D.I.Y.

I know the Uly has raked triple trees. If they are year specific, I don't know. I'm guessing it feels twitchy? How are your tires. Is your suspension set up properly? What year/model are ya talkin about?

Not sure if all the years are the same but my 03 has about half an inch above the top triple, you could slide the forks down slightly, that would increase rake. You could also put an scg rear shock on as well. Not sure if those would really screw with the handling, or if it would just make the steering a little softer.

^^^ cool. Free spirits make's some nice stuff. Had no idea that existed.

'twitchy' front end feeling when driving into a fast corner, especially with the S model. After many hours of road tests and experimentation (at first using steering dampers) we realised the problem was the trail of the bike.

^^^ found that very informative. This is a must buy for me. Crossing out the damper.

I would recommend making sure your suspension is properly adjusted for your weight prior to making modifications. I know it made a world of difference for me. It was also a major improvement when I went to Pilot Power 2ct tires as well.

I have tried the search on here but have not been able to find, how to adjust the suspension for my weight. Any help in finding it would be greatly appreciated.

The manuals available for download on this site have the suspension adjustment procedure in them.
