Just thought I would share for those who are big horsepower members.

Well finish up a build on a friends '63 Impala Chassis Car. Chassis is certified SFI Spec 25.1E (7.49 seconds and faster; 2,800-pound maximum). Turbos are setup to run roughly 2300hp, turbos will be upgraded later in the season in hopes of setting a world record in both top speed and quickest time 1/4mi run.

Here are a couple pics and a short video (testing to make sure the coolant fan would come on, little rev towards the end [up])

Wow i would love to drive that thing. I drove a mid ten second camaro my friend has and that was fast i could only imagine that thing.

It amazes me every time me and my buddies build something how much bigger and more badass it gets. Some how we end up with money to live in the end too, clueless to how since everything costs so damn much.

I think I need to get all of my friends in on my bike build:p

No, we just know how to get deals :p

Very few times do we pay even cost for parts. Just have to have friends or friends of friends that work in every aspect of the automotive field.

He's lucky, usually its always operating at a loss and just being able to get by in drag racing....really any type of racing!

Here is the dyno run. Big fail as far as the numbers are concerned put out 1100hp, but it has yet to be fully tuned since it has yet to log any data at the track.

Well had the shop road cleaned enough to do a couple burnouts :D

Not as fast as my Skyline. j/k I wish! I think this is the fastest 1/4 (non-drag/sleeper) car I have seen ever. Your buddie's car is sick to. Looks evil. I like that. [up]
