98 tube frame fork rebuild help

My fork seals on my 98 S3 have been leaking and need to be replaced im going to order the seals and stuff from AmericanSportbike. I was looking in my repair manual, is it as complex as it sounds? I've never rebulit forks like these before any tips or advice would be very helpful.

Easy repair, just follow the manual. I made my own tool (ratchet strap) to compress the spring. Good luck!

That sounds like a good idea. Can you give us some details? I have to do the seals on my '99 S3.
