LOL! Hey ez, I knew it wouldn't be long before you showed up and started posting your pics all over the place!

Partsguy, nice looking bike so far, except for the ape-hangers... never been a fan of totally useless weirdness. ;) Is that a tool box on the side??? Kinda' neat, if so!

That was something I thought about doing long ago - ala the old dirt track and board track bikes, but my next project instead is the XP3 - an XB rolling chasis with a Blast motor - warmed up of course;0) - should come in around 330lbs wet;0) - and with a large jugged small stroked 650cc done by Revolution - yes - it will be fun!

Those are some nice looking Blasts. I would ride the **** out those. I've always thought that blasts looked ok, but those look stealth. That's sort of what the new Buell Lightning Super TT should have looked like. A couple clean motocross features to those Blasts would be killer. [up]

Thanks - they are pretty much finished in this stage as projects go - thats why I'm starting the XBBlast project - I plan to keep it extra lite though - no unnecessary parts - just enough to keep it street legal - lol - my goal weight is 330lbs max. wet.

Black bike - 5,000.00 + 5,000.00
Red bike - 2,000.00 + 2,000.00
As you can see all the extra engine mods on the Black start adding up quick - and that doesn't count dyno times - lol

Are you happy with the black blast? $10k is a lot for a blast. They do look sweet, but you could get any lightly used XB12 for that price. You definetly made me rethink how much I like blasts. They just seem cooler now. [up]

Yes - I'm very happy with the Black Blast - these where long term projects, and the Black has improved with my riding - now I'm still exploring its new edges with the much improved suspension - I bought it new at 5k so the other 5k spread across six years is actually pretty reasonable for an ongoing hobby - the red bike is my daily driver - so its budget has been less, however, due to the right part choices - it also is a lot of fun! :D
