Been playing around with different suspension settings and still not finding the right spot. Took a pic after hard riding over different road surfaces and different braking.
Is this too much travel for the front fork??

Thank you for any input.

I switched my fork oil over to the Screamin' Eagle Racing Extra Heavy Fork Oil (P/N 99909-93R) because my fork seals kept blowing with factory Type E For Oil after setting down from wheelies after just a couple months. Never blew seals after that and it stiffened up the ride a little to where I didnt have to have all the suspension settings so high. If you dont ride that hard or dont want too stiff of a ride and want to stiffen it up a little over stock, try the middle weight oil, Screamin' Eagle Performance Heavy Fork Oil (P/N 99881-87) and it should cure your problems.

Thanks for the input BPG. I am going to get a heavier fork oil when I go for my 10k service next week so I won't have them problem when I am doing wheelies this spring.

What i am not understanding is what i am feeling...
Here's my dilema..
I want to lean the bike over close to knee dragging...(never done it and would like to try( i bank alot in the aircraft i fly and want to get close to that as possible on 2 wheels and i know it is done,,,seen the pics)), i have the not so popular Dunlops that came with the 2005 models and close to chucking them and getting the Michellin 2CT... but i have read about adjusting for improve ride quality or improve steering quickness & corner easier, again not sure what this means as the ride feels ok for now and it gores around corners if i'm slow.. when i try to lean hard after warming the tires up i get a slide in the rear and a wobbling feeling as well but can't figure if this is front or rear.... i started off the settings as factory spec to my weight and then adjusted to stff and soft but still scares the crap out of me to hit hard in the corners.
Any ideas lads???
Thanks again
Justin

If you are going to buy a dual compound tire and arent planning on doing many track days, go with the Diablo Corsa III Dual Compound tires. Nothing against Michelins at all, don't get me wrong they are an phenominal tire, but in comparision to the Corsa III's, the Corsa III's have a larger area of the softer compound on the shoulders of the tires versus the Michelins. A more street effective tire than the Michelin 2CT's, especially to the beginner to novice riders out there. Not to mention, the Diablo Corsa III's are easier on the pocket book than the Michelin 2CT's.

Just my opinion, from what I have seen here.
