Aftermarket coil

No reason to go aftermarket for any performance gains. And if you mean aftermarket 'oe replacements', well, even the OE Buell coils are only $4o ish.

Just bought a brand new coil from dealer, waited 10 days for it and it has more resistance then the one I am replacing that I deemed junk by owners manual. I want to run a different one that is easier to get a hold of

Sounds like what ever your problem is... isnt related to the coil. Youre chasing the rabbit down the wrong hole.

Only way to accuately test the coil is with a scope and monitor its output voltage. Measuring resistance only really reveals and issue of the coil is an open circuit "Over load" or no resistence indicating a short to ground.

OE coils are almost as common as fleas. You might have to look a little bit, but no reason to wait 10 days.

Agreed. I had a coil issue a while back...they'd overheat and split wide open. THAT was the ECM holding the charge constant on the front cylinder. Not being a wise guy here, but WHY don't you post WHAT your problem/issue is, and maybe we can give you some pointers.

The front cylinder was way lean, the rear cylinder was wet. Changed coil and the rear cylinder was way lean, and the front is wet.

Injectors have been flow tested and cleaned by injector shop, they are fine.

Plug wires are new, plugs are new, flipping them from front to rear makes no difference.

Fuel pump is new, filter is new. Pressure is 48 all the time.

Fuel map modified or stock doesn't change this.

Compression test was fine.

Grounds appear good, going to check again later

O2 sensor is new, doesn't change with putting old one in.

Never touched timing.

The reason for 10 days to get coil is I live in canada, nobody stocks buell parts, it all comes from the states. Aftermarket performance stuff is easier to get

Before condition got worse I had it running and sprayed around intake with quick start (not greatest choice but wanted something flammable) no change in rpm, watching ecm spy no changes there either
