Aftermarket lever compatibility verification

I know this is gonna seem like yet another daft question from me but hey, here goes

Are these levers OK for 04 XB12R, seeing as the seller seems confused between XB12 (all years supported) and XB12R (08 only). So basically, is XB12 a catch-all including XB12R or is the XB12R different with regards to the levers?

The levers I bought said they would also fit all model xb12 from 2004-2008. So I'm assuming they would fit your bike. In the eBay message area be sure to put your model and year bike so the seller knows

The brakes were upgraded in '08 to ZTL2 so brake levers are different for '08+.

Not sure about the levers you linked, but these below do work. And you get a set of grips for free. The levers look pretty close in design.

I have a 03 xb9r but the levers were also direct fit for all model xb12 04-08. Mine are not foldable but are shorty adjustable levers. Check out seller motomarts, they have alot of levers for buells.

netty, I'd love to be able to buy some of those but I'm over the pond in the UK so a US supplier tends to be false economy

Thanks for pointing out the change in '08 ct1200. Seems a lot changed in '08.
