So there I was, building some new shelves in my garage to make more room for my most prized possesion, (08 1125)when I noticed that I should move it outta the way a little. So grabbing it on the right side instead of the kickstand side - (Hense I'm an IDIOT!!)I pushed it a little forward. The kickstand folded on me and the bike started to go down. Because of the angle I was at I could'nt hold it up and I ended up breaking the left hand mirror/turnsignal. Trying to stay positive about it I guess at least I didnt cave in or scratch up the pod or fairing. So here is my dilema now. Is there any hot modding Buell brothers out there with a set of stock mirrors laying on their shelf that they would sell to an Idiot? :):([confused]

Haha, don't be so hard on yourself, I consider you lucky that you got away with only a broken mirror/signal. Those pods are just cosmetic damage waiting to happen.

omg this happened to me it didn't fall over though, because if it did it would've landed on pop's harley (his most prized possesion) so i had to muster up some balls an yank it back my way or else my ass you be grass, im sure someone has removed their mirrors, i like the way it looks with them on sorry about the accident bud :(

Dont feel bad I was cleaning my wheels last week and while sitting on the ground rolled it forward a little. It more or less fell on me, luckily I was there to break its fall so it did not hit the ground. We all make mistakes. At least you were not on it when it went down. Mirror and turn signal are easy fixes.

Unless you bolt two little wheels on the back of the back wheel. I've seen them on Honda Goldwings and my nieces little schwin:D

I just ordered one from ASB and got an email saying they were on order and up to 2 weeks out.

Been there, done that.

Had my Triumph fall over (controlled drop). Pulled into my driveway and thought I had the kick stand all the way down, but didn't. Started to get off the bike and on it's side she went. I was able to use my leg to brace it a bit, so damage was minimal - just a turn signal and a small scrap to the faring...

Haven't dropped the Buell yet.

I think we've all been there done that.
Only way to fix it, rearstand, helps when stacking multi bikes in tight.

My bike fell on me when I neglected to put down the stand at work , thought i'd skip trough the day without snyone knowing only to find out later ALL my co-workers were watching the incident on the security moniter ! DAMMIT !!

Thanks for the pep talk guys. Dosnt anyone have a pair of stock mirrors around they would sell? I thought of maybe taking them off and trying something else but what do you do about the turn signals?
