Aibox conversion

Anyone put the newer inner airbox cover on their bike...i'm running an 05 XB12S and looking at doing some kind of mod to the air system....i've read about taking the snorkle off under the outer airbox.....any thoughts on that one????
Basically looking for any info from any of you who have done the conversion or done the drilling of holes in the inner airbox.

The newer style inner upper airbox cover will retrofit onto the older bikes. The snorkel can also be removed for positive effects.

search for open air box mod on here and you will comes up with this question answered several times over.....
