airbox mod to work withe gutted out stock muffler

Hi i have a xb9r 2003 firebolt. i have a question bout what mod i should do to my airbox to work well with my mod i did to my muffler, i have taken out all the inside off my muffler i think they call it the drammer exhaust mod but not sure anout the airbox mod?
Any info or answers

I have the same year and bike. Gutting my stock pipe was the first thing I did to my bike. Same thing you did to yours I hollowed it out completely and welded it back up. I put a K&N airfilter in it as well and ran the stock ECM with it just fine. I never noticed power loss or anything. Maybe I just didnt care but it always ran fine.

The reason y im asking is cause when i give it a bit in gear with clutch out it chokes a bit then picks up. its like its starving for air and there is to much fuel to air

And i was told that when u do a exhaust mod u need to do a air box mod to match
