Well i went down I'm ok just a sore right ass cheek from hitting a dirty mound. Took a right curve and my new rear tire wasn't scrubbed in enough for it. I started to low side but got it back upright but had to run her into the ditch at about 40mph.

that's the only real damage some scuffs and missing foot peg and bent rear set. I have new pegs already so just looking for a rear set if anyone has one. Also what would be best to get the scuffs out?

Poor Buell... Jk glad youre just butt hurt and not worse.

The scuffs/scratches- sanding, primer and a paint job. Time for a new look?

I'm a fan of this.
lol I'm not i just got done painting my wifes sv and after having the impregnated plastic I'm a fan of it. I ordered the novus 1,2,3 and will give it a try I hit a small area with some polish and if I would have spent some more time I bet I could have gotten the scuff out. the scuffs are just from tall thick grass.

Glad hear you're ok. Im assuming the 1125r plastics are the same as the xb plastics and the plastic is the actual color not painted? In that case: For the scuffs and scratches, Use a buffer and buff out what you can. The head from the friction of the buffer should seal up light scratches and remove the scuffs. If some scratches are still too deep, use the finest grit sand paper you can find and sand them out.ake sure you sand evenly an not just in one place otherwise you will get noticeable dimples. Then buff it up again. Polish to your hearts content. Ride an repeat as necessary

went from this

to this in a few minutes with just some polish

brought out the scratches. I had to wash my buffing wheels so tomorrow I plan on trying some buffing compound then some polish. To see if I cant get them out they look rather light so I don't think it will be a problem.
Still looking for a right side rearset I can still ride the bike but cant get to the rear brake very easy since its really close to the engine now.

Sorry for your misfortune brother. I put a new rear tire on my old XB and didn't realize how slippy they are. First decent turn coming out of the neighborhood I nearly side swiped a truck as the rear started to come around on me. And I wasn't even going fast or under heavy power at all. I kept it up and all was well, but I learned a scary lesson real quick. New tires suck. Much better to run off into some dirt than watch it slide down the road.
