Another ECMspy question

Hate to ask this because there's a million random posts with ECMspy questions, but I've searched through a hundred of them and haven't found an answer yet. Maybe someone can tell me what I'm doing wrong.

I can get my bike(2003 xb9s) hooked up to ecmspy, I shows when I twist the throttle and everything so I know it's at least picking up my bike. I can't get much farther than that. When I click on "File" to try to actually mess with the maps/eeproms, none of the things in that menu are even highlighted, so I'm obviously not doing something right. Do I have a wrong setting turned on, is there a step I need to do first that I'm missing? Hope someone can point me in the right direction because this is the first time I've tried doing any of this myself and I don't really even know what the right questions are to get to the answers I need.

Haha, apparently you can't italicize a word in the title. Ignore the "I"s.

Go to the View menu and select Professional ?

I just checked - that will do it.

Thanks! that was exactly the problem. Amazing how much work you go through to solve a stupid little problem. Now it's telling me the map I have is incompatable with my ECM, but I'm sure I can sort that out with some research.
