A friend of my uncle runs a bike rental/tour business and wants to expand his business to take in all repairs, and retail. Right now he only does maintenance on his fleet of bikes. It'd be just for the season then I'd be back here.. or wherever i decide to go.

Only hang up I am having at this point is finding affordable housing. ;( Any suggestions guys?

Hmmm good question! I live out in Eagle River. Not quite in anchorage and housing is a little cheaper there. Depends on what you term affordable lol

are you gonna be working for alaska rider tours/ moto quest or alaska motorcycle adventures? both shops do a lot of work with the shop i work at! you best bet would be to look for a roommate situation.

this is the guy i would be working for. Long time friends with my uncle. I would basically go up there and get his full repair and retail side of things going.

dahkgb is right. Depending on how far you want to ride or drive to work, it is cheaper outside of anchorage. The drive isn't that long though. 30 min maybe more depending on traffic and weather. Craigslist is the cheapest place to start looking. It is a bit expensive here. Are you planing on driving up?

I'd like to find a place that is not too far outside town cause if i cant bring my buell i will be commuting to work by bicycle.

I have been searching craigs list and whatnot.

Keep us informed man! i would have said my complex but they rented the last unit out. I had my name on it to so i could upgrade [mad] all well such is life!
