Just bought a 2004 Buell XB12S Lightning. I'm a painting contractor and was painting a guy's house and noticed the Buell sitting in his garage - super clean. Hasn't been cranked since 2015. I gave him $500 and he said it needed a fuel pump and battery. He also said it had 28,000 miles on it.
Well - got it to my garage and put a battery in it. I had 8,000 miles on it. I've rebuilt the fuel pump and replaced the spark plugs .... what a joy to ride.
Need some fellow Buell rider's in the Athens, GA area.
