just wondering if it was someone on here. i bought a seat rail and recieved this instead. whoever ordered this is probably opening my seat rail right now wondering wtf.

i am waiting to hear back from the seller. i have a feeling he's gonna stick me with it. how much is it worth? its yellow plastic, not painted, with silver decals and is in excellent shape. i would keep it but i'm not a huge fan of yellow

I've had that happen before. The easiest thing for him is to give you the other guys address, and give the other guy your address and see if you'll mail it to eachother, and send you back some refund for shipping and for your time. You never know though.

Regardless, you can't just get stuck with it assuming you paid with paypal. If he doesn't respond you can just file a complaint. If he keeps not responding they'll refund your money and you can keep the airbox cover.

As far as a wild guess goes.... a clean blue one just ended last night on ebay for $25, but they're priced a lot higher than that on buellster, so in general I'd say maybe $35-40? Most people don't seem crazy about the yellow. If it was a better color I'd buy it off of you!

edit: I looked at the completed listings on ebay and some went for $99, some didn't even sell and were priced at $30. Prices seem to be all over the place.

that sucks, cause i paid around 80 for the seat rail with shipping. if this thing isnt worth that then i have been screwed unless paypal can do something for me. thanks for the input

Paypal and ebay have you covered. If item never arrives or not as described you can open a claim. No biggie. Just the wait time:(
And we all know the wait is the worst.

it usually doesn't even take that long. If it's going to be resolved it'll only take a couple days. If he doesn't, the max is 30 days and you'll get your money back, plus get the extra cash from reselling the airbox cover(I'll buy it from you cheap:D). I definitely wouldn't stress out about it. Chances are it was an honest mistake and the seller will take care of it, especially since buyers are the only ones who can leave feedback anymore.
