Your showing off a carp? REALLY? Those damn things are useless so......

Oh yeah! I've finally had time to get out some. I mostly bass fish..caught a 2 pound small mouth last weekend and I caught a few nice large mouth outta my farm pond a few days ago..one was 3.5 lbs.. I'll have to post a pic of it, if I can get it on here from my phone.

To us Georgia boys they are just catfish with more bones:D

Got one in the freezer now waiting to be cooked tomorrow. Good eye on what type it is too.[up]

You fish much Fla. when your not at the field of dreams;)

Maybe that should be the next picture challenge. Your buell with a fish you just caught. You would have to ride to the fishing hole with the pole and tackle box strapped to the back[cool]

I use to fish a lot but not much time lately [down] Hell I haven't even really rode since I got back from the dragon . I put new tires on the week I got back and they still have nobies on them . I guess we're spoiled in Fla fresh water , salt water , inshore , offshore etc...
Offshore fishing is what I like the best[cool] Its just another expensive hobby though

I spent most of my years as a kid in fishing tournaments. Tom Man's finals 7 years straight. Then the fam bought a 42 footer that we kept in Eglin FL for about 5 years, so I spent pretty mush every weekend of the summers fishing and swabbing decks. Biggest catch ever was a shark that was a little over 7 foot long. about 3 miles of Beach around Destin.

It is a blast. It always took me about 3 trips out each year before I got my sea legs back... until then I was very useful for chumming the waters. Not sure where you are located but if you are ever headed down to Al or FL we should get a Bueller's fishing trip together and charter a boat.

I used to be a fly fishing guide when I was living in Colorado, but since moving down to Texas I have had to adapt a bit. I can still fly fish for reds and sea trout on the flats, but I have gone slightly redneck and picked up bowfishing for gar and carp.

Now that's some nice salmon! I'm in Ga it would be cool to head down to Florida and get off the coast. Heard its pretty pricey but worth it.

Na the price isn't too bad, but it depends on if you get a "party boat" where you just book your spot and are one of around 80-100 people on the boat, and all you do is bottom fish from your spot on the side of the boat, or if you get a private charter where it is only your group on a smaller boat and the Capt. does what you want with guidance from him. THe private is more expensive of course but way more fun.

Fly fishing for me, caught this rainbow on the Yakima river in Wa. state...

A few trout from last weekend. The big one is a 20" 3.8# Rainbow

This is a 18.5" 5.5# Rainbow I got about 3 weeks ago.

I am a full blown junkie when it comes to trout fishing. I fish a couple times a week. I don't always get out for a full day, but I get out often.

Fly fisherman here as well. In norther VA where I live it's mostly smallies and sunfish. Got to go fishing last summer in NH where I grew up. Lots of stockies and a great time. I'm teaching my stepson to fly fish too. He's getting there, 11 years old so he still tends to rush his casting.

Caught this monster up in the Rapidan in the Shenednoah :)
