Anyone ever ruin their phone in water?

So, I just ordered my new phone because my projection speaker went out from humidity and I'm getting this done.

I'm excited for this

Science is finally being useful to me while I'm in the shower and wanting to play on the phone. lol

Yep I think I went through at least 4 work crack berries. Im in the business of cleaning up water damage so it happens. On my 2nd company iPhone now.

It's alright but I don't see how that'll stop water from getting into the headphone jack, speaker, microphones, etc.

Yup Just last week Sat 2iphones in a purse with a water bottle that soaked them both...Long story short stuck them in a bag of rice and one still works the other had a screen that stayed black

doublezero, it coats the inside of the phone. water can get into it and it'll just run back out, no way for it to corrode.

Im on my new phone now because on a ride home with the buell one night I got drenched by a farmers sprinkler that was aimed right over the road. Took out the screen on my old phone. Dont ask i have no idea how i didnt notice the sprinkler.

I'm prone to getting caught in storms, so I'm getting this coating done.

Yeah mine sucked a real royal arse .... so i chucked it in a mates pool.........it's winter and i think it's still there.
