Anyone have a map for EBR ECM for 2009 xb12 with Jardine Exhaust?

So I recently did an airbox delete on my 2009 xb12scg with Jardine exhaust and EBR ECM. I disconnected the interactive exhaust module and I got an engine light for error code on interactive exhaust not working... As far as I know, EBR ecms are supposed to have interactive exhaust disabled... I had the bike serviced a while back by Harley for a faulty TPS and I am wondering if they messed with my ECM while diagnosing the problem. I'm hoping they didn't try to flash a map over my EBR race map...

Does anyone have the EBR ECM map for a 2009 xb12 for Jardine RT1 exhaust for comparison since I can't contact EBR for assistance anymore?

EBR store might be coming back up soon, so you might be able to by 1 from them direct.

Is the bike running okay? Have you tried plugging the interactive exhaust module back up? I've got the same ecm and the instructions state that the ecm can't be remapped. Sorry if this is a dumb reply but I have limited knowledge with ecms. Just trying to help

I have the ebr ecm in my possession... Problem is Harley had my bike for a month trying to fix a problem I ended up solving myself. I just want a map to see if they tampered with the ebr ecm map since apparently my ebr ecm has the interactive exhaust activated.

Red09low, the bike runs fine, but I do get quite a bit of decel popping when engine braking in second coming up to lights... I have read and been told it is normal to have some, but also have heard from owners who say the ebr ecm eliminated decel popping on their bikes with Jardine exhaust... So just wanted to do some doublechecking.

Please, to the best of your knowledge, vividly and chronologically list the sequence of relevant mechanical changes performed on your XB, by you or anyone else, up to the moment the check engine light came on.

Check engine light was the interactive exhaust actuator being disconnected. I plugged the emulator in and the light went off... So now just want to make sure Harley didn't flash a stock map onto my EBR ECM.

Yes, but were the Jardine and ECM put on before, after, or during the time it was at the Harley mechanic? Did the mechanic install them for you, or did you install them yourself?

Jardine and EBR ECM were installed prior to going to Harley. I had just purchased the bike and I had an issue where engine would die after a few seconds of running when idling. Thought it was the IAC at first. Harley sat on it for a month and couldn't figure it out. I spent an hour on YouTube and found someone else with the same problem where the TPS was on the way out but wasn't throwing codes. I bought a new TPS at autozone and replaced it myself and fixed the issue. However, the Harley tech said he had run diagnostics and checked air/fuel during that month. I am hoping he didn't try f***ing with the map to fix the problem.

I believe he just checked the AFV and would not f**k with the maps that is getting to deep for them. Is the bike running fine now? If so just ride the bike and don't worry. When I got my EBR ecm I had to adjust my AFV to get the bike to run right.

I see. So the bike did not display a check engine light when you first installed the Jardine and EBR ECM, but when you got the bike back from the Harley mechanic there was an engine check light. How soon after getting it back from the mechanic did the engine light pop up?

No, no light when it came back from Harley... I've been riding it for 5 months since then. I did an open airbox kit from American Sportbike just recently and removed the interactive exhaust actuator finally (it was plugged in without being connected to the exhaust). That was when the engine light came on. The engine light is now off since I purchased the Interactive Exhaust Emulator and plugged it in. So my concern is only that since the EBR ECM is supposed to come with the interactive exhaust disabled, there shouldn't have been an error code when I unplugged the Interactive Exhaust Actuator... Which leads me I believe Harley has tampered with the ECM.

I have an EBR ECM and Jardine on my 2009 XB12Ss, and yes the EBR ECM cancels the engine check light.

I would try the following:

-Disconnect your battery.

-Disconnect and remove the interactive exhaust emulator.

-Disconnect and remove the EBR ECM.

-While you have the ECM out, inspect the ECM, make sure it says "For Race Use Only" on it. That would indicate its an EBR ECM and the mechanic did not replace it with an OEM ECM.

-Connect and reinstall the ECM.

- Reconnect your battery.

Okay, opened it up, ECM says "Race Only" on one side, part number Y0165.10AH on other side. Did some searching online and the part number is correct for my ECM for Jardine. Now just need to find a map to verify it wasn't tampered with by Harley.

Still hoping someone has a map for my ECM for me to compare. I ran Buelltooth/ecmdroid today and verified I was getting error code 21 for the interactive exhaust. Now just need to verify my map was not replaced by the Harley tech.

A tip on the decel popping.... make sure your Jardine is repacked. I will be posting a video soon on how to properly pack a Jardine.

I plan on repacking with Bristol Core Spec31 HD muffler packing kit and carbon muffler liner. I only have about 5000 miles in my Jardine exhaust as of now. Let me know when you make the video so I can check it out!

Picked up the Bristol core spec 31 HD muffler packing kit, hand riveter, high temp silicone, steel rivets. Waiting for parts to arrive to repack the Jardine now.
