Last oil change I found I must have overtightened my drain plug a bit as I got some threads with the plug during my oil change last week. Got the plug to tighten back up with the threads that were left, but now I'm seeing a couple drops on the ground each morning...so now I need to take care of it...

Anyone have a timecert kit, the 0122a variety, that they would be willing to loan or rent out?

That's no good Miami and I think it's something where all going to have to do if you keep the bike long enough, there's just not enough material and can easily be damaged.

Good luck with the repair.

Yeah, followed the torque specs a while back, now I'm paying for it.

If anyone has one of these I can borrow please let me know...I have a trip planned this weekend and don't feel comfortable riding 700 miles with the drain plug dripping. Really would rather not buy one new, but I will have to order one today if no one has one. Thanks!

Have one on order...will have it handy in case someone needs to borrow it down the road.

oh, dang. that sucks, bro.
i think there was some guys on the big bad and dirty section who had one of those kits and were just "paying it forward"

Good thing you didn't Jake...they are listed way too high in the manual!

Hey, are you free this Thursday evening? I should have the new exhaust/headers back from the ceramic coater...wanna help me put it on while I time-cert my swingarm?
