Anyone have the ecmspy software?

I'm picking up my jardine exhaust tomorrow, and from what I've read I'll need to reset the tps and tune it using ecmspy. Just seeing if anyone close to san antonio has it, or if any shops will do it

What's that mean?

I was going to send him the ecmspy that I use on my 05. Will it not work on his 09?

it won't communicate with the ecm to do anything. 08+ aren't compatible with ecmspy like the 03-07 they need mono or tunerpro I believe

you need ecmread and tunerpro for it basically.

I'm taking my first stab at the 08+ bikes here pretty quick and I have a couple maps for it that seem to be based off of a micron as well as the stock maps.


and to do a tps reset

08 and up
1 turn ignition on
2 make sure kill switch is on
3 do not start engine
4 hold throttle wide open for at least one second
5 let throttle snap back closed and hold closed for one second
6 repeat 2 more times, open 1 second closed 1 second
7 turn ignition off
8 you have just reset the TPS

I sent him a pm asking what it was, seems kind of new to the bikes.

I probably would've assumed the program would work for all years if I hadn't been around these bikes before.
