I've order these set of fork seals from All Balls http://www.allballsracing.com/56-133-1.html, but they slide down the fork way to easy. I'm afraid it might leak since it doesn't seem like a tight seal, and I've check to see if anyone else had this issue and came back empty.

I have a 04 XB12R

youre probably talking about the wiper and not the seal.

the seal shouldnt slide at all as it is kept in place with the retaining clip.

But when you slide them down to put them in place, it just seems to slide really easy

as long as they don't slide with gravity, they are fine,They don't take much effort to move. Once driven in they get tighter.

My seals were loose going down also. They sealed up with pressure and with the installation of the taper bearing. I didn't have any issues.

They do slide with gravity, they literally just fall lol

That doesn't sound right^^^^

I've used All-Balls seals quite a few times with good results.

Double check your part numbers on the seals. They are measurements.

I'm waiting for a reply from all balls, but I did give in and picked up a set from my Harley dealer

The dust seals should be tight to the fork but aren't nearly as important as the oil seal. Are they tight to the fork?

Did you order seals for a 41mm fork or 43mm? you have 41mm, maybe double check they sent you the right parts. What are the part numbers?

Fork Seal & Dust Seal Kit Aprilia Dorsoduro 750 08-14, Mana 850 07-12, RSV Mille 01-03, SL 750 Shiver 08-12, Buell Firebolt XB12R 05-09, Firebolt XB9R 04-06, Lightning XB12S 05-09, Lightning XB9S 04-09, Ulysses XB12X DX 06-07, Ulysses XB12X FX 08-09, Ducati 1000 Monster 03-05, 100

Looks like that is for 43mm forks

i wouldnt order from them because they dont sell the bushings. If you have the fork apart that far why not change the bushing too. Many times the teflon is starting to wear off.
