Anyone ever dealt with Arai concerning the warranty? I need 2 new side plates for my RX7 Corsair and my warranty isn't expired until 2011. Wondering if they'll send me some new ones?

one of the clips is broken off on the inside which prevents it from snapping on correctly, and therefore, holding the visor on. I have read a lot of negative feedback about arai's visor system, but I never had any experience with it until I ordered a new visor, the side plates' 2 tiny plastic clips are essentially all that hold the visor on, seems very cheap for a company that believes $800 is practical for a helmet, when I went to pull off the old visor, it took very minimal pressure to break the plastic clip off the inside on EACH side! so now I am left with a useless helmet until I get new sideplates, when I do I am seriously considering selling the damn thing and ride with my Shoei instead!

hope your registered your helmet at araiamericas.com They were working on the web site last time I needed them. They are the best for customer service, you'll get new ones I'm sure

Yeah I actually registered it after the plates broke, but my warranty is valid until 2011. I posted a "help ticket" thru the arai america website so hopefully they'll respond soon. I'm just trying to figure out how to not break the new plates when I go to install the visor again????? It's really tough to get the visor on w/o being able to see under the plate and as soon as I make the wrong move with the visor, it pops off the plastic clip and then I'm pissed. Heads up, there may be a priced-to-sell Tommy Gun Blue on here very soon haha! (serious)

I have an Arai quantum and I changed the viser with no issues not sure if it is different though. When I pushed it up it just went right into the spot to take it off.
