Well a couple years have passed and I never really introduced myself (My bad) This is the first forum I've been part of so I wasn't sure how it all worked. After seeing all the new Buellers introduce themselves, figured it's time I do the same.

My name is Arthur, I'm a 24yr old male from Maine, that's had my heart set on Buell since the XB came out. I finally said enough is enough a couple years back and picked up my old 03 xb9s and had a blast with it for the 8000 miles I rode it.

To make a long story short, well not to short, I happened to sell it this season but, not before picking up my 04 xb12s. I actually planned to ride my xb9 all this season but someone from Maine had posted their xb9 on here for sale and sold it locally before anyone here could take a look. So after he sold his, someone from NH was interestred in it on here so I told him that one had been sold and I had pretty much the same thing I would sell for about the same price. We talked back and forth until we had a date setup for him to come up and check it out. I felt pretty confident in selling it to him and I knew I didn't want to go with out a bike during peak riding season so I began searching for my new bike.

I happened to find my 04 xb12s on Craigslist in NJ so I set everything up to go on a Friday to pick it up. I drove all day and night with my sister, she had to rent the truck, about 900 miles both ways. Got their and paid the guy loaded it up and back to Maine I went. Got home at 6:00am and had the guy coming to look at my 9 around noon so I pulled an all nighter and waited for him to show. He showed up and just like I had planned, he bought it.

So here we are another season down, I'm more addicted to Buell than ever before. So happy to have my 12 now, what a difference! I got to put about 3000 miles on it so far, but Maine winter came up quick so had to call it quits for this season.

I must say this forum has been great, almost like my second life actually. I try to get on for a few every morning while enjoying my coffee. From what I see, there is alot of good people here with a lot of good info, even though there is a little much bickering from time to time but it's what makes the world go round if you ask me! After all it is the internet.

Sorry for dragging this out and making this post so long but just trying to cover it all. I'm not to computer savy but I'm learning, I do however do most of my own wrenching. I got a good friend that is the service manager at the local Harley dealer so he takes care of me on all the stuff I can't do. He is die-hard Bueller, so it does help to know him and he tries to help me as much as he can without soaking my wallet.

Thats all for now, It's been a pleasure talking with people here and getting to know others from all over. So ride safe fellow Buellers maybe see you around.
Thanks again -Arthur-

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome. I guess that wasn't to hard to put pics up!! Here is a pic of the old yellow and the new red, the morning before I sold the 9. I'll try to get a few more pics when I get down to where my bike and camera are.

BLUE XB12 or anyone else close for that matter, I'm located in Washington ME, a little town near the coast and state Capital, Augusta ME.

I would be great to hook up with a few people from here at some point. Xlr8n_xb(Good man) and I have been trying to set something up during the summer but it's never happened. We keep saying Laconia Bike week which would be a great spot to hook up for some of us.

Luggage has been the worst part for traveling, but I just picked up a ventura rack and bag for the next seasons riding. So now I'm ready to travel when the time comes!

Be safe all those that are still riding, and stay sane all those that have put the bikes up.
