So last night in southwest wisconsin we had a pretty bad wind/rainstorm. Long story short somebody came and told me my bike was laying down, I ran outside to find it tipped over, with a tiny scratch on the swingarm, and a busted blinker, and a busted bar end mirror, I was thankful that nothing else was ruined and set it next to the building out of the wind. Upon riding it the morning my worst fear became true. the forks/barends are tweaked. DAMNIT. So guys, what do I do, is there any possible way that they got knoked out of algnment, or are the bent for sure?

it felt like when I was aimng it left the rode straight, is it possible its the triple trees?

I dont see your forks getting bent from just falling over. You sure something didnt hit it to cause it to fall over?

You could try loosening the pinch bolts and twist it back into shape.

this is probably what happened. look for cracks in the thin sections of the triple trees though.

I just loosened the bolt all the way at the bottom, it moved a tiny bit, but it's still of which bolt exactly?

Got a text from a buddy last night that my bike was tipped again, this time it was towards the kickstand, so I have confirmed that it's some punks messing with my bike [mad].

That is uber ******. You should get a trail camera and put it facing your bike. They are nearly HD quality and maybe you can catch these douche lords in the act.

Yeah, it sucks, but I'm just going to take it home from school. As much as it would be nice to have footage of them doing it again I don't want it to happen a 3rd time..... But, one of my buddies is leaving his bike here, so he bought a camera for his.

harbor freight has a driveway alarm that goes on sale cheap all the time,,,less than 20 bucks most of the time. you place the sensor where you want and it sounds off in the house when triggered. we have them on both entrances to our property. Sometimes a cat or other critter triggers it at night,, but good way to give you a heads up,
maybe you need a taser and pepperspray., non lethal but would send those kids home very sorry. OR,,, you
could go all medieval on them, just dont post it here or FB if you do.

Bummer, I would be too paranoid to let my pride and joy sit out like that,,, maybe a UJM with a milk crate on the back,, but not a Buell or something, trail camera? but someone could steal that too. Surveillance cameras are cheap these days... you can set them up with a DVR setup for recording and a motion detector so it only records when theres activity.
Personally,,,,,,,, if you have no other options for parking a camera setup would be my first choice.. a buddy sets them up and has a program where you dial 2 numbers on a smart phone and you can check the camera views on your phone. Dont know where you are,, but perhaps a shitbox car would be a better choice and keep the bike at a friends or rental storage place. I used to be in the military and dorms for a while so i feel your pain.

Well, finally got the change to go and look at the bike today, loosened the bolts on the trips trees, pushed it all back into place and it now rides straight, all the damage is just cosmetic now. Still sucks but just happy to have it back up and running right. Been so busy lately with school since the semester is almost over i have papers up the butt, and exams.

F that Nik. Bummer. Haters gon' hate. Probably jealous their balls aren't big enough to ride a motorcycle
