OK i'll be doing my exhaust mod and have so many roads to choose from. Originally i planned to gut the pipe, and use angles of metal in the middle like this |>>>| not i'm looking into replacing the pipes in the middle with high flow baffles? and retaining the rear chamber and the exhaust valve. right now i think I will be doing the baffles replacing the pipes first, then if i'm not happy with that doing the |>>>| baffles. if that fails too just cut the rear chamber off dual tip it and give it the steel wool guts? any input suggestions. I'm having a lot of trouble with indecision here[confused]

I would weld a washer to a bolt to have an adjustable tuning baffle. That way if you're totally lacking torque, just turn the screw a little to increase back pressure

That's not a stock bend anyway. Just using the pic as an example. That's a voodoo pipe. Just put it in one of the pipes or near the outlet.

I can tell you about my pipe... Mine is a stock pipe with the Active Exhaust Switch welded wide open. the back of the pipe was cut off and now I have a rounded rear plate and dual tips. It's loud as hell, but I think I'm losing a bit of low end power since it's essentially straight piped.

yep dave xb12r knows what he is talking about all the harley guys do that so they can keep the noise and keep the torque

I did mine like midnights and I can feel I lost a little low end which is OK but I mostly lost on the top end. About 5 to 8 MPH on the big end. If i could go back I would do the bolt and washer idea
