Does anyone know how to do this? My BAS housing is cracked and was flopping around loosely under the tail. I ziptied it to the subframe but want to order a new one. HD has it on backorder. Can't find it online. Gonna order from HD but dunno when it will arrive...

I wouldn't bypass it - if you go down, gas pumping/leaking onto a super hot motor, wouldn't end well. ;)

I'd try finding a way to secure it (jerry-rig) - short of that or the RT option above I'd wait.

If you have fuel leaking after a crash, it probably will be totaled and the least of your worries. You can bypass it in ecmspy iirc.

idk, laying down hurt beside a bike that is leaking and still running would probably add to my worries.

Was in a race years ago when a bike crashed and flared up, got really interesting when the magnesium parts went up.

Important lesson in my life: the BAS is your friend.
