Bar end mirror size

I'm looking to try out some bar end mirrors on my XB 12Ss. Does anyone know the handle bar size, 7/8" or 1"? Thanks

7/8 is stock bar size

My experience with bar end mirrors is that they come lose. I read that you can use a 9/16" fuel line in the bar ends to make them hold better. Has anyone ever tried that approach?

I've been using CRG arrow bar end mirrors on the 7/8 crg bar end adapters for 2 years now and it has not loosened up on me at all.

CRGs are high quality. That's why they hold up.
The knock off mirrors(AKA el cheapos) tend to have fitment issues.
Least that's what I've read and personally experienced with my low grade mirrors.

How does one install the bar end mirror on the right handle bar without making the throttle stick? The handle bar tube is expanding and causing the throttle to rub.

it is pretty hard to stretch the inside of the tube outward.

When I had them on my S it took finding the sweet spot that I could tighten them to while not affecting the throttle, by constantly working the throttle while slowly tightening till it held the adapter enough.

I just beat this issue I had sticky throttle with my bar ends. I took the throttle grip off and took the dremel to it just shaved off a little, then took a razor blade and cut the extra rudder off the end of my grip. Works beautifully now no issues. (Also to note. I just have cheap Ebay bar ends and they work fantastic they do not move out of my spot, or vibrate at all.) I'm 800 miles in with the mirrors on the bike too.
