I posted these on some of the other boards where there is a ongoing discussion about it.
Thought I would share it with those on here who dont frequent Buelletinboard or badweb.

A few notes:

- The sound is more "crackly" then in person. Especially when blipping the throttle in the beginning. I assume its my little sony handcam's fault.

- I may be running a little lean because I still have the original 08 flash. I will be getting the newest one soon. I had a OSB tune for the older flash, thats why I never upgraded.

Overall, I rode about 25 miles. It has a little gurgle in decel, but not too bad. Again I have not given the ecm a chance to "learn" at all. And I am still running the old flash.

Compared to the Jardine, it is a little quieter. This is without the quiet core. I should be receiving it in the next couple days. I will do another video with it installed.
It is definitely deeper then the Jardine. If I had to make a analogy I would say the Jardine is more like a indy car sound, while the Barker is more of a Nascar sound. Deeper, but still loud.

So here ya go, I will give some more impressions once I am able to ride it some more. Hopefully this weekend.

Nice man. Sounds like a D&D on idle. I want a d&d but cant afford the price tag. What did this set you back.
Sounds good...

Its $400.00

Not a bad price for what you get. They claim 17hp with a dyno sheet, but it has not been validated by anyone else yet.

I met tim barker today. He us one heck of a guy .
Mine is in the back seat of the car.
For those haven't been watching buelltien board puzzeld has a discount for forum members I think it is 375 shipped.
I got to hear the moch up bike it sounds good hopefully get a ride saterday

Lets see if this works took a good 15 minutes to put it on.
the idle is good the crackle was my mic over modulating on my iphone

i like the way it tucks up under the motor, not hang down where the header is like some i've seen. very nice[up]

Jornum and RT
sweet sound and looks killer! [up]
they sound angry [mad] like 'get the frak outa my way' angry
:D

I've been following the development of this pipe and I'm pretty much sold.

One or two have mentioned that they didn't like the way the pipe doesn't follow the lines of the motor at the front but I understand that the length is probably needed for it to run right. Many pipes make noise but while they look pretty, they actually cost horsepower. Not what I'm looking for.

I would love to see some independent dyno runs:

1) stock bike
2) w/ K&N filter (a common and normal swap)
3) w/ the Barker pipe and stock air filter and
4) w/ both the Barker pipe and K&N filter

This may be asking a lot, but it would reveal exactly what is the real deal...

Even if it doesn't really increase output by 17 horses (and that would be really impressive if it did), if it increased power by even half that much it would be very much worth it!

Hey Tim, if you can get some independent shop to do such a test and things work as well as I believe they will, get ready to crank up your production facilities...

And may I please elbow my way up to the front of the line?

My Bike is new had 6 miles till yesterday.
I can't even give you a butt dyno stock to Barker.
I put 100 miles on it yesterday.
Dam it was cold.
I never twisted it over 6k it isn't broke in.
Bike runs great.
It never decal popped like my xb did before i tuned it.
I did do a kn and the barker plus removed the noid selnoid.Yes it does sound angry .
there no way the car next to you doesn't know you are there.
guessing you seen Barkers dyno?
I met tim he is a great guy and into motorcycles.
Only concern i have with this pipe is how close it is to the rear tire but it doesn't seem to be heating it.
it does blow on the ground on the right like a jet dryer . I am considering rotating my tip straight out.

well tonight i decide to sand and polish the head pipes to match the lowers and they came out sweet.
took maybe 20 minutes remove heat shield some cloth emery paper strips.
then so scotch bright buffing pads
little mothers wheel polish to finish it off
