160 CCA sorry but I'll pass I believe are bikes need more like 200+ CCA, but I could be wrong. I like the price not CCA.

Highly agree. I talked to them before and even the stock battery is angry trying to crank this 10.1-1 compression over. WE NEED CA

There are some batteries that have less CCA then others but we have batteries that have 200+ CCA also. If you guys let me know what type of bike you have I can send you the link in a PM.

If you have any questions feel free to ask.

Thanks,

I would just put up the link that will work for our bikes it's easy xb9s,xb9r have the same motor. The xb12s,xb12r are also the same and 1125r,1125cr are same as well. Just make sure that it has 200+ CCA, but I am only thinking of the XBs not the older Buells. And if anyone needs help in anyway I'm sure that they would ask. not trying to be a pain sorry.

"CCA is critical for good cranking ability. It's the number of amps a battery can support for 30 seconds at a temperature of 0 degrees F until the battery voltage drops to unusable levels. A 12V battery with a rating of 600 CCA means the battery will provide 600 amps for 30 seconds at 0 degrees before the voltage falls to 7.20 V (six cells)."

Realistically the difference between a 160 CCA and a battery with higher CCA wont make difference in performance unless you live in a cold environment.

If you have any further questions feel free to ask.

On behalf of around half the riders here:

We ride when its cold us northerners (at least I do) with ride into October maybe November. As long as its nice after im off work around 3 I will ride in the morning anywhere around 32-40 degrees. Thats cold enough to worry about CCA

I agree with SlickRidin, I live in the upper michigan and right on the Wisconsin border some of my rides especially late october and early spring its only like 35-40 degrees out we need CCA!

Hardcore! Too cold for these bones!

Meh, I just replaced mine with a stock HD battery. Was $127, but tested at 347 cca's at full charge. For the money I couldn't find anything else comparable. Bike starts like a champ now instead of taking two pushes like it did with the Interstate that was rated at 220 cca's.

Interstate has gone to crap. Not made in US anymore. My interstate barely lasted a year in my XB. Going on third spring with a DEKA and it still rocks. Think I'm going lithium in my RC51 next though. More ca's half the size, only a few pounds and never needs a tender or cranking to stay charged. They cost more initially but last up to six years or more.So it's really cheaper in the long run

Well I have a perfectly good XB12r Battery in my basement unfortunatly it doesnt work on my 1125r because the terminals are switched for some stupid reason, and I cant really put it in upside done with the mods I have to my tail even if it would work and I dont even know if it would.

Netty2424 : not so much hardcore, I bundle up like the kid from A Christmas Story haha.

How many CCA is the HD battery advertised at? The interstate one is 240 CCA.

Not sure what they advertise the HD at, I had it tested because it was not stated anywhere and it rated 347 cca's. The interstate model I had was advertised at 220 cca's per google search.
