Battery light

I'm a long time rider but new to buell. Bought my 2008 1125r about three weeks ago with a bad battery. Had it replaced at a HD dealer but the battery light still still comes on when at idle. Any ideas

Sounds like the ever present stator issue probably ... I myself do not own an 1125 but i've read countless threads on it ...

The stator issue didn't happen in the 2008 if I remember correctly?

Welcome to Buell ownership. The stator could still be bad. The 09's burned them out(design flaw). Stators still go bad or burn out on our bikes as well as others. Check here if you don't have a manual
