just move it closer to the front of the bike.. there is plenty of room in front of it to move down.. my next solution is to get a smaller battery such as a ballistic or a moty designs..
It is expensive, but it it is everything they claim. Cranks really hard. Weighs hardly anything.
In fact, before I played (and won) the rotor/stator game I was carrying the Shorai in my backpack as a spare for peace of mind. I would NEVER consider doing that with a lead acid battery, but I couldn't even notice that the Shorai was in there.
Just looked them up.. 240.. way too much.. they aren't as light.. have less cranking amps cost more and are larger than the moty designs battery's.. I'll pry be getting one of them..
You can find them at other vendors for less than what Shorai sells them directly. Go figure.
In any case, I suspect that they are all pretty much the same in performance/weight and you'd be happy with any reputable brand. Even the puniest ones I've seen out there have specs superios to a lead-acid. Highly recommended.
