Has anyone relocated the battery on a 1125cr or r.. It looks like it could be moved for more storage space..

Move the battery ... to where? There is not a lot of wiring harness slack and some of the items the harness connects to would be tricky to relocate.

just move it closer to the front of the bike.. there is plenty of room in front of it to move down.. my next solution is to get a smaller battery such as a ballistic or a moty designs..

I have a Shorai. It's tiny! and super light!

If you do move it, try to find a way to secure it. Wouldn't want it shifting around and possibly shorting at the terminal.

It is expensive, but it it is everything they claim. Cranks really hard. Weighs hardly anything.

In fact, before I played (and won) the rotor/stator game I was carrying the Shorai in my backpack as a spare for peace of mind. I would NEVER consider doing that with a lead acid battery, but I couldn't even notice that the Shorai was in there.

Just looked them up.. 240.. way too much.. they aren't as light.. have less cranking amps cost more and are larger than the moty designs battery's.. I'll pry be getting one of them..

You can find them at other vendors for less than what Shorai sells them directly. Go figure.

In any case, I suspect that they are all pretty much the same in performance/weight and you'd be happy with any reputable brand. Even the puniest ones I've seen out there have specs superios to a lead-acid. Highly recommended.
