battery size help

Alright. I bought a battery this morning at wal-mart, yea not what I wanted but for the money I couldn't say no. It was roughly 6in high and it looked small enough but it wouldn't fit at all. I have a stock hold down too and it appears as if I need on about 3.5in high. I cant find one that short. The one I got has over 200 cca and it would of been great, just too small. I cant shell out $150 for a high end gel battery since I don't know how long I'll have the bike. I mocked up the hold-down to see and that's the height I measured, barely 3.5 inches. What do I need? I cant find any batteries shorter than 4.5-5 inches.[sad]

I just ordered two for my 05 and 06 XB's. Free shipping and I got it 2-3 days after I placed my order! The local HD dealer wanted $135 for one battery. Each of mine was $78.

Not sure how to post link. Go to ebay and search agm motorcycle battery. A seller has a strore called 1st web sales. I ordered the wrong one but the correct one is rated @270cca and its $59
